Prisoners of Perception: What Is Wrong with Our Life?
What Is Wrong with Our Life?
...Are We Truly Free or Just Well-Controlled?
We live a life wrapped in illusions, where everything is a lie. The food we consume is laced with poison, and the healthcare system we trust is run by white coats more interested in pushing drugs for their profit than finding cures. The mass media doesn’t provide real entertainment, because in reality… we are the entertainment! Manipulated into behaving according to the images we see. We chase the illusion of being different and special, only to imitate others. We seek spirituality, but end up worshiping ourselves and fleeting short-term pleasures, thinking they will bring us everlasting joy.
Beauty has become a commodity, measured by how much you can afford. Isn't it curious that the very plastic surgeons who assess and reshape the symmetry in others often choose to stay completely natural themselves? We rush to pick partners just to escape loneliness, only to find ourselves surrounded by many, yet still feeling alone.
...Are We Living or Just Performing?
We think we buy clarity, but we are sold confusion. The less we understand who we are and what we truly want, the easier it becomes for others to wield power over us, dictating our identities and desires. They profit off our misery, our sickness, our fear, and desperation, feeding on the very frustration this system creates. No, it's not just the poor who suffer! Frustration knows no boundaries. It attacks all minds because comparison is natural to humans, and this instinct is ruthlessly exploited. The harder we work, the more others take.
...Are We Worshipping Things That Destroy Us?
Power isn't real; it’s an illusion, a game. We grind for titles and status, believing they will make us whole, but they won’t. After decades of sacrifice, we finally take a breath and realize all the things we could have done but didn't, because nothing was ever enough. We are sold dreams but left with nightmares.
We let ourselves be consumed by greed, and we popularize pleasure and egoistic desires as normality, calling it freedom. We think we are advancing by making ourselves dependent on machines, but in reality, we let ourselves be controlled so often that it has become a new human nature. They promote endless competition, making us chase infinite luxuries without realizing that the greatest luxury is time; the one thing we can never get back.
We pay with our time, but somehow, we never have time for ourselves. And that’s the cruelest part of this illusion.
Take Back Your Happiness
...What If Happiness Was Never Meant to Be Measured?
But here’s what they don’t want you to know: you don’t have to play their game. You don’t have to chase what others did. Every social rule, every standard, every norm, it is all man-made. It is pointless to work just to make others jealous, to prove your worth through exhaustion. You are worthy without proving it.
Pause. Breathe. Let go of the weight they put on your shoulders. Enjoy a touch, a smile, the happiness of simply existing. Stop running. Stop chasing. Start living. You don’t have to stick to one path, one dream. Change them, and start over as many times as you need. Stop being stubborn, because at the end of the day, nobody truly cares about the show you're putting on.
They sell you happiness while secretly hoping you never find it. They offer you new methods, new ways to achieve joy but only for their profit. Isn’t it funny how they pretend to want to see you happy… until you actually smile? Then suddenly, they tell you it’s not enough.
But here’s the truth: your happiness was never meant to be measured, compared, or sold. It was always yours.
So take it back.
